Valley of Flowers Restorative Body Crème

Listen, oribe products are quality. They made my hair go from horrible to healthy, and now skin products! I don’t even know where to begin. The smell is straight heaven. It’s floral but not old lady. It’s hip and fresh without being over whelming. I love smelling good so that was important. This is definitely a universal floral scent, meaning you can’t go wrong. It’s just perfectly done. Now as for skin. I have kt on my arms and legs which means many products irritate my skin or make it feel more bumpy. But not this! My skin felt so clean and hydrated. And most importantly Healthy! No irritation, no raised bumps. I am just obsessed. I am oribe girl for life! Their products are just undefeated!

This has a very elegant and sensual fragrance. It smells like an evening perfume; floral yet rich with a vanilla musk like undertone. As a lotion itself, I feel its standard; but with an elecated scent and esthetic packaging. I enjoy it.

This body cream is truly wonderful. I have never smelled anything like it. This fragrance lasts. My sense of pampering is enhanced when I use it. This body cream's texture is luxurious and melts into the skin quickly. Once I apply this product after a bath or shower leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft, and hydrated. I find it to be an effective product for hydrating my skin. I'm always getting compliments for the scent & I never leave my house without applying it. It's become an essential part of my daily routine. I highly recommend this product.

I have severely dry skin yet it rarely soaks up product and just sits on top. Not with this! Not only does this crème soak into my skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue, but it leaves such a beautiful sheen on the skin that looks healthy and hydrated. The only reason I did not give this a full 5 stars is because of the scent. While the scent is nice, I think many would find it very strong. And even though it’s floral, it could easily be a unisex scent as it’s very musky and woody. It lingers on my skin for hours, especially when combined with the body wash. I will absolutely be purchasing this crème but in a different scent.

When I opened the package I was overwhelmed with a rose smell and was a little skeptical that was going to be over powering, while it is floral, the smell Isn’t overwhelming and smells so good on my skin. BUT it’s the pure luxury of the crème that has me HOOKED! It literally feels like pure luxury on my body. It’s so nourishing and soft and thick. I’m obsessed. The only thing I don’t like is it was leaking a tiny bit when I opened it and the spout leaks a tiny bit - nothing that is terrible and it might because I live in the desert so something about the heat of the package caused it. I’ll absolutely be repurchasing!

I loved the consistency of this body cream! It wasn’t too thick or too thin and absorbed into the skin so quickly. There are two things I didn’t love. 1) The pump doesn’t work very well. It takes awhile for it to go back up so you can do another pump. This seems like a miss for a product that costs this much. 2) The smell of this particular scent is too floral and sweet for my taste. This is personal preference and I have no doubt I would love one of the other scents.

I got this product in exchange for my honest review. The fragrance is very apparent so if you have a sensitive nose this may not be for you. My skin is left soft and the consistency is smooth not clumpy. As far as price point, it is pretty steep for the product but if you like luxury goods I would recommend it. The scent does linger on the skin for a while. Would I go out of my way to spend $65 on lotion? Probably not but if I felt like splurging then yes I would!

I really like the smell of this lotion. I would describe it as a musky Lilly of the Valley almost. I have slightly sensitive skin and this did not irritate it despite it having a strong scent. My skin is left feeling smooth. The only thing I don’t like is the quality of the pump. I think it could be nicer for how much the product is listed at, but it has nothing to do with the quality of the lotion, so it doesn’t matter enough to give it less than 5 stars.
