Must have for maintaining curls

I have been hesitant to use mousse products for curls for several years but this is a must-have for me, now. Best used on nearly dry/dry hair rather than when hair is damp or wet. Combine with sea-salt spray and day two curls are brought back to life! Highly recommend it if on the fence about switching from gel to mousse.

Mousse vs Curl Gloss

I love Oribe products and have fine curly/coily hair. The curl mousse is not good for fine hair or when definition is desired. I have tried several tried and true application methods to keep my curl clumps together, and the mousse still leaves my hair too soft and lifeless. I much prefer the Curl Gloss for my hair type.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy Use, Great Results

This is my favorite hair product. Application is simple and quick, and my curls are defined but not crunchy. My hair typically turns into an almost dandelion-like mound of frizz, but this mousse fights Houston humidity like a pro. The product washes off my hands easily, unlike many other products marketed for curly hair. I hope this mousse is sold in a TSA approved travel size in the future!

Unfortunately worth the money

Yes it's expensive, BUT it's also the best curling mousse I've ever tried. The VOLUME and hold alone make it a must-have for me, but on top of that it's great to have it in your hair from the day before when you're refreshing your day-two curls. Of course I use it with a curl cream and light defining gel as well, but when my hair is longer I'm excited to try it just by itself and see what kind of mane I get. Will always have a bottle of this on hand, hope it's in production forever!!!

Not what I’d hoped for

I love all Oribe products but was very disappointed with this product. The mousse is light but doesn’t seem to help my curls any better than the other curl products (I have most all of them!). Also, it does not smell good at all, not the usual signature scent I strive for so my hair smells great all day. I will use it but definitely not my favorite curl enhancer.

Curls that are soft and springy

This mousse is a nice finish for my hair. Leaves it soft, shiny and the style holds much better. At 74, I’m not into washing hair daily. Just want to preserve the style for a few days between washing. This works!

I first discovered Oribe years

I first discovered Oribe years ago through Birchbox and have been a super fan ever since. The Curl Shaping Mousse smells, like all Oribe products, divine and the benefits don’t stop there. My curls are bouncy, healthy and shiny looking and best of all, feel hydrated and so full. You really only need about a half-dollar dized dollop (depending on the length of your hair. Mine is long - to the middle of my back) so the bottle lasts a decent amount of time. Oribe has never disappointed me and I have never used an Oribe product that I didn’t love and this mousse is no exception.
